They are not evaluating human beings though. They evaluate a textual representation of a human being’s work experience.

Not that I agree with this AI approach but when hiring, the real test begins after this initial hurdle

Cool project! I've been playing around with a couple of different implementations of an infinite canvas.

One of the reasons why I did not go with an HTML based approach is because the XY translation gets really laggy with a couple dozen items.

Is that something you thought about and accounted for?

Refering to football as foot egg when it’s actually a ball as opposed to the hand egg in the US is weird to me.

OT: La Liga shouldn’t have this kind of power and it’s good to see the court take a stance

I can imagine that the process of fabrication relies on tweaking a tremendous amount of parameters. In a sense seasoning a skillet and perfecting it to the max

> A lot of people have chosen to take the Hobbit as seriously as its older brother

Do you refer to the LOTR trilogy as The Hobbit's older brother here? I was under the impression that The Hobbit was the first book in this saga?

<Insert every cloud provider here>. There are countless posts on HN that describe people and businesses being blocked by a cloud provider like GCP. Hetzner is by all means not an outlier.

To me, blaming an activity which requires active participation for “brain-drain” is such a weird and quite dated thing. Take social media for example, these require no active participation other than moving your thumb up and down, and is in my opinion the real brain rot these days.

People will always find a way to get their dopamine, be it video games, reading, watching stuff, etc.

Don’t pick out a single thing and make it the boogey man.
