It really is not. If anything, the experience has improved in the last couple of days.
There seems to be a surprisingly big subset of the population that hates Elon Musk and thinks he can do no good. It as if they want Twitter to fail just so they can be vindicated.
I really feel that Google is such a brittle empire. From the endless canceled services, the apparently useless layers of complexity in their various dashboards to stories such as this one, I have the impression that Google is always one or two missteps away from losing its dominant position. I very well might be reading too much into these stories, but still, I can't shake this feeling.
I'm done with them as well. ~10 years ago, it was a novel, fun way to travel and meet new people. Now it's become a business for many hosts and it shows. I have never appreciated a hotel room as much as I do now, having gone through the AirBNB gauntlet one time too many.
