I've moved to Joplin and am pretty happy with it. Was easy to self host on my WebDAV.

I believe it imports Evernote data too.

Honestly I can't tell the difference with LinkedIn. Feels the same as it's ever been

Thanks for the insight. Do you think something like nebula could ever be feasible?

Recently I heard some people conflate procedural generation and generative AI and I had to explain why there isn't some legal or ethical issue with what breaks down to essentially scattering some points.

It's really getting annoying having to have these conversations.

A decade ago they pulled my purchased copy of mortal kombat 2. Not the first time they've done stuff like this.

I stuck to buying hard copies and dwindled off the series as they started to charge just to play multiplayer.

Ah interesting. We are in very different domains haha. I had to search a lot of terms.

Fair enough. I do question it often.

It's a standard Asus router but it's given me a lot of ire. I hate to say it but it's never a problem when I install windows on the same machines

(I'm currently in the process of trying to completely remove windows from my life)

First thing I do on a fresh Linux install is set ipv6 to deactivated. Fixes all my initial Linux install problems. I don't question it, it just works every time.

That's cool. Could you share some concrete examples of your successes?

Don't worry you aren't. Luckily no one will use this distro day to day

Never thought I'd be living in a world where my tech hardware purchases INCREASE in value over the years.

Couple options I've tried. ALICE vision is an open source library (I used it through Houdini)

Also epic makes an app called Realityscan

The term is "photogrammetry" which might help in your searches

My library was recently asking for donations and they said the reason is more people are loaning out digital books which are significantly more expensive. I don't recall the details on the flyer though.

I've had some success with that. It's pretty neat!

Haven't used it professionally mainly because the titles I've worked on lately aren't realistic so you can't really procure the materials to scan.

Not sure if there's anything preventing this from happening in North America but in Japan there are stores that literally just sold broken down bulk items bought at Costco.

I've been doing a 4 day work week and it certainly helps quite a bit. I worry I have gotten too used to it now though.
