The state of California is going crazy in this area. They're trying to eliminate the statute of limitations in all alleged non-consensual sex cases.
As there's _already_ no statute of limitations where DNA evidence finds a match, this will only apply to "he said-she said" cases.
Imagine 20, 30, 40 years after the fact, when no memories could possibly be valid, being able to bring rape charges against anyone. The world would turn upside-down.

I actually had a much easier time getting most common GNU things running under CYGWIN than under MacOS. There's really no reason for a "Unix/Linux" developer who uses a lot of GNU and FOSS tools to use Mac. Use Windows / Cygwin / Windows Services for Linux / and VM if you need the real thing.

People laugh at me when I tell them I switched "back" to Windows after decades of Unix and Mac programming. But it's a really good, productive platform. Microsoft really seems to be heading in the right direction now.
I hope .NET starts taking off on other platforms, too, because it really is a much better system than Brand "J".
Suicide has different reasons for men and women. Women make half-hearted attempts as a means of seeking attention and controlling other people.
