As a teenager, I would say I still like reading books (I'm in EU) but one of the things that makes us hesitate is the dopamine we can get from IG or even Discord servers!! It's so easy to lose the attention during reading a book.
Does that mean we should worry more in the coming years?
The point about Chinese tech companies is that they're really innovative, especially in recent years! on the other side, there's no high level of transparency of what they do/intend.
I guess we could expect more innovation in such a highly regulated space, regarding that Chinese government really supports these kinds of advancement. Not so sure what would happen in the dark side.
