How does IS&S compare, relative to other orgs at the company? Does the org you work for (in contrast to your role or seniority level) matter, when it comes to job security?
Do you work for Apple? Might you have any insight into how the company decides how / who to layoff, when the time comes?
I would have thought that the newest would be the most vulnerable, since they haven't had the time to absorb institutional knowledge and make internal connections.
I would be grateful if any Apple insiders here can discuss the risk of layoffs if one were to join the company now.
