It's interesting to compare the trajectory of Databricks with Snowflake.
Last February, Snowflake raised its last funding round, $479M at a $12.4B valuation. Snowflake then went on to a gigantic, record breaking IPO in September.
This time it's Databricks, with a 2x investment at a 2x valuation. The eventual IPO will be something to watch.
