There is a really wonderful Buddhist center in Vienna affiliated with the same branch of Tibetan Buddhism I have gone on retreat with. They should have retreats as well. I recommend checking it out. https://gelugwien.at/
Many nootropics will greatly amplify the feelings of depression (by personal experience and anecdotal experience of others). This may be because many of these substances interact with neurotransmitters like choline. Excess choline can lead to depressive-like symptoms.
That said, many non-nootropic supplements can be highly effective for depressive symptoms. I love 5-htp for a temporary serotonin boost. I use it for 2-3 days at a time until my mood improves.
As far as nootropics go, his choices are on the conservative side. Racetams have a relatively good safety profile, and Choline is naturally found in common food.
I don't see this being good for anyone in the long run. It enables the user to avoid a difficult, but important conversation. It's a generally held opinion that breaking up over text message is disrespectful and tacky, and this is even worse than that to me. The generic responses send to the person on the receiving end are likely to be hurtful as well. Better than ghosting someone I suppose?
Cool! I had to try to automate creating/reading credentials for a project using PowerShell a few years ago, and this would have been very useful. Trying to use the API and drudge through the Microsoft documentation was torture.
I checked out the wikipedia article for Ashtanga yoga and I'm a bit put off by the reports of frequent and somewhat severe injuries. Mind sharing your personal experience there?
Great to see Vivaldi getting traction and attention. I did not agree with the direction Opera was taken after they switched from the Presto rendering engine to Blink. Many of the features focused on power users were thrown out, and when users complained to Opera, they were told to wait on extension developers to fill in the gaps. Many people prefer not to have to install multiple extensions and therefore have to trust multiple extension developers. I hope Vivaldi is successful in filling the void left by the changes to Opera.
Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering if antivirus vendors would be removing superfish. I'm also curious what the process would be for revoking the root CA centrally. Is that something only the superfish vendor could do? Would anyone knowledgeable about this care to enlighten me?
