Does anyone know if this will impact WiFi at hotels? Most large brands have a free & upgraded plan available during your stay. Would this mean that the free plan has to meet these requirements?
I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but I use Manything with my old phones. Its not free* or very hacker friendly, but it's simple and straightforward.
* It does offer free streaming, but recording is $2.99/month
Tipping does not increase the service you get from someone. It just makes the customer feel guilty or pay more. Look at Publix: Rated No. 1 in the Temkin Customer Experience Ratings and No. 2 for Customer Service. But Tipping their baggers, even if they help you out to your car, is against company policy.
1) How disciplined are you as a pilot, Are you going to insure your plane is ready to fly every single time to mitigate risk. Most fatalities in GA could of been avoided. You will have to make hard calls like. "I have a meeting tomorrow but the weather looks terrible, should I fly through it anyway to get there?" or "My oil pressure is low but I need to get home". You will get stranded and have to get a hotel room or car if you plan on using your aircraft for travel, I guarantee it.
2) Where are you flying? are you flying over water, mountains, cities? Are there roads where you could easily put down or nearby airports? One of the first things you learn as a pilot is what to do in an emergency. Step 1 when you lose engine power - Get the best glide speed and find a place to put down.
As an aside there are aircraft that have parachutes. Cirrus is the best known right now with the CAPS system. But, if you have a parachute are you going to try to fly through the storm to make it to that meeting above?
I think the whole parachute system affords the pilots, and in my case the family, a better assurance of safety. My fiancé has a fear of flying and the parachute does help qualm those fears a bit.
Side note, have you ever tried to put a cirrus into a spin? It's difficult, iv'e tried. I think that has more to do with Cirrus passing the regulation than anything else.
