Interesting. Thanks for your reply. How did you get these many users in the start?
I was thinking more about user interviews for product direction feedback, Experience testing or competitive analysis.
Thank you! What we realized is that there are just way too many sessions to watch which consumes a lot of bandwidth of our end users. So, we came up with AI-tags on session replays which exactly tags useful sessions based on user behavior. So, you can watch only tagged sessions where we will show exact timestamps where users were confused or there was a rage click or there was a U-Turn or error/slowness and many more!
Also, we are doing AI-clusters based on user behavior for heatmaps to show what the users who are dropping tend to do and what those who convert do.
We have realized a lot of data is been collected in such tools but it is hard to get value out of it and we are optimizing on getting value from the data! Right now, many users are liking this pitch and are ready to give us a try :)
We created a heatmap and did the comparative study of the same page in two different time periods. One before the changes and one after the changes. The attention heatmap clearly showed a bright red color in the testimonial section which was bluish earlier.
Thanks for the question. Hotjar is a very good product. In Browsee, we are attacking the unsolved problems like
1. Too many sessions to watch - We mark sessions with AI tags like rage clicks, n/w errors, and slowness, u-turns, repeated events, etc to give you pinpointed sessions to watch
2. Easy querying for Page URL and Elements - You can use our Chrome Extension to watch sessions and analytics for any URL or button or link just by selecting it within our Chrome Extension instead of searching for complex CSS elements.
3. Identify Your Users - You can identify your users with your Database ID etc to know exactly how your users are using your product.
4. Actions - You can also target your users with segmented notifications.
We love to explore various user experience flows of top-notch products and thought we would share our learnings with fellow makers. We thought what better way to share than to take snapshots of various UX components. We also tagged them to make it easily searchable by elements like cards, tables, signup forms, etc. You can search for your favorite product to get some inspiration from their flows. We have also curated multiple insights under our story section for onboarding, signup forms, signup buttons, etc. Looking for feedback!
Hey, we actually get this question a lot :) We feel like there is still so much to do in this problem space and by talking to our users, we have realized that we can move the problem and solution a little further. Here are our 2 cents:
1. Automatic tagging. Users find it difficult to find which sessions to watch, in lack of which they end up wasting time thus degrading user experience. Searching by URL’s and actions is also not enough. We are using AI-based tagging to identify the interesting sessions so users can just watch those and get insights. Our automatic tagging reduces the number of sessions by 95%.
2. Actions: We allow users to show some widgets or personalize their site based on real-time engagement. This gives them a better chance of converting them.
Component Analytics: Sites built with React, Vue, Angular have many dynamic components and require visual analytics on them. We are building a solution for that and this is completely new.
3. Usability: Using a chrome extension we will make it easier to consume heatmaps and session replays by overlaying these analytics on the product.
4. Our bot behavior detector (to identify ad fraud) is completely new and the only substitute people have for it is to match final revenue with each keyword and turn off non-performing keywords. With us, they will be able to block such users and save money on such clicks. This could be an entire product in itself and the number of sites doing banner based ads is quite large.
