What you're actually going to see is seniors inundated by slop and burning out and quitting because what used to be enjoyable solving of problems has become wading through slop that took 10 minutes to generate and submit but 30+ minutes to understand and write up a critique for it.

I think that's overly generous. OpenAI already has a track record of going back on what they say with the whole non-profit/for-profit thing.

I give it a year with how fast they're lighting cash on fire.

As someone who lives near a school I can say school buses are very much a necessity and they are getting modernized. I see an electric one consistently going through the neighborhood. And I much prefer them to hundreds more cars or pedestrians going through the neighborhood (people drive like maniacs through the residential streets here).

You can pop the handle off that Ridgid one and there's a hex bit you can hook up to your existing drill. It's admittedly a bit wonky to operate like that, but for a single family home it's mostly workable.
