I cant recall a war in my lifetime (45 years) where is has been impossible to have any idea of damage. Very little coming out of Iran, very little out of the US.
I dont see how you couldn't structure this with an offshore licensing deal. Ie Irish company picks up 99% of billing, German company sends Irish company license fees etc and reduce profit of German company to zero for three years.
I toured the Loro Piana mill in Roccapietra a few years back.
Highlights include the cashmere carpets they make for gulfstream, the Scottish nettles they brush fabrics with and the five story storage bins that run an automated elevator call back system.
It was very impressive.
Sure it is even more so since it was purchased by LVMH.
