i don't know about ukraine, but i live in venezuela and i can't do an international wire transfer here. so some people can't rely on banks, but i probably can rely on someone around here wanting to take my cash or car or house and give me bitcoin if i needed to go away. i use localbitcoins a lot of buy local currency in exchange for bitcoin... and i'm not a "crypto person", but it happened to be super useful for me here in that way
i don't think you know what the typical wage in venezuela is. i do because i live here. you can watch this video if you want to know (it's not 3$ a month): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br7aSAXcPW4
say i've happened to save 1000$ and i want to leave the country and i don't want the police near the airport to take my money as they're known to do. do you think it would be an absolute fantasy for me to find some way to sell my 1000$ for bitcoin and buy them again somewhere else?
i live in venezuela and i buy and sell bitcoin every week because it's the easiest way for me to get the local currency on localbitcoins so i can buy groceries and such. i only use it for this purpose
i've also sent money to people in other countries using localbitcoins. it's really helpful for me in that way. they just deposit money into people's accounts and it's worked flawlessly for me so far
-logs me out randomly every few months for no good reason
-the button for sending my data to my email didn't ever work
-sometimes i wouldn't be able to close the keyboard and keep using the app no matter which part of the screen i tried to touch, i had to close it and open it
-recently it forgot which plates i have and it's showing me something like 25 + 20 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1.25 + 1.25 + 1.25 + 1.25 (=60) for a 60+60+20 lift, when it previously would show 25+20+15
-it once showed me a unparseable json error. probably the server was down or something. it would have been really cryptic for a non-programmer
i thought it was terrible for everyone. are you on android? i'm using iOS
starting strength app is really bad but i keep on using it because i already have all my lifts recorded there, and i think it's easier to use than a spreadsheet and don't really want to check if all other lifts recording apps are just as bad
What is it about wireless routers that makes them stop working correctly after about two years? That has been my experience. I feel like an old laptop doing the same job would last longer.
