That is sad. There should be a some kind of TOS for public internet companies. While this kind of exploits does not hurt google but they can be very dangerous for users.
But all the geek will love it :). Its a real gem, so you can install it. Its the best way to invite other hacker friends. I hope there is no hackathon on wedding. :)
I totally agree here. Sublime is just an rebound. People will move on.
I think they should converge to Old Editors like Vim/Emacs because Editors like these don't die, they never have. They keep coming back, like a Zombie (Not the best example I could come up with).
But being on Emacs gave me an advantage of persistence. In past I have changed companies, development machines, operating systems and programming languages but never editor. It was always there, available.
Yes, These features are there in Firefox can Chrome. You clearly haven't used these browsers. I will suggest you to google for firebug, and developer tools in Chrome.
