Yelp's ratings, reviews, recommendations, and tips aren't very good for food, bars, and things to do. I've always found Foursquare's to be much higher quality.
The Xbox 360 was also the first game console to have a Netflix app. I think MS has released stats stating that over half the time spent on the 360 is streaming video, which is most likely Netflix usage.
I hear sentiments like this a lot, but I don't agree. Many companies have training on how to use Google Calendar/Drive properly. That doesn't mean these products are too complicated.
Seems like a step back from the old design? Not a great browsing experience and for company pages, there is not very much information above the fold anymore.
What would happen if we valued forums the way we value tech sites? What would SomethingAwful's valuation be in today's tech world when it had the engagement and content creation power it held in the early 2000s ?
To me, Quora is really nothing more than a glorified forum.
Oh! The censorship I meant was more-so in regards to banning Gawker links when they outted violentacruz. I think the child pornography subreddits being banned was fine.
