Type of roles: Backend cloud/APIs/distributed systems
I moved to SWE from almost a decade in electrical engineering including digital circuits at FAANG. I know how to work as a professional engineer and learn fast. I have about 3 years on software side but I ramp up quickly and communicate well; I will be making significant contributions in short order. Looking to ship features and new systems and grow into a Sr+ role quickly.
Info: ~3 years as SWE, 9 previous years as hardware eng. Looking for level II or III backend SWE positions. Been doing a lot of DevOps lately, open to that as well.
