what OS are you using? It normally works without issues on Chrome. It can be hard on CPU so better have no other tabs open on your browser.

Maker here. mdrone is a drone instrument: you hold one sustained tone, layer a few voices, and let it evolve for minutes or hours. With microtonal tuning the partials beat against each other and "phantom" melodies start to surface that you never actually played.

It ships several tuning systems: Pythagorean, several just-intonation sets, Kirnberger III, 31-TET, plus maqam-leaning scales like Yaman and Bayati, and a custom scale editor. The same held interval is a different sound in each.

Tech: it's all client-side Web Audio + AudioWorklets, no backend, no account. The whole scene (voices, tuning, FX, two slow modulators) serializes into the URL, so a sound is just a link you can bookmark or share. There's a small adaptive-stability layer that eases off visuals/FX/voice count if it detects the audio thread struggling, to avoid dropouts on weaker devices.

Built this as a browser groovebox with no account or backend. Grooves are fully encoded in the URL, so you can share and remix them just by sending a link. It runs entirely client-side using the Web Audio API. Would love feedback, especially on the workflow and usability.

Thank you for the answer, but again I’ve said that censoring books is a plot of authoritarian gov. You are considering this an ideological position while it is a fact. I am not here to troll, but be flagged as flamer for saying a fact is very disappointing for a respectful website. But I understand that people in united states have different sensitivity about truth and facts.

“Those who don’t remember history are doomed to repeat it.”

Cheers

Mine is not a generic idelogical flamewar. It's an objective observation based on the History and the politics of authoritarian governments. It's sad how in 2021, in a respected website like this, facts are considered to have the same value as opinions. And if someone dont like the facts call them "ideological flames".

Yes sure, everyone knows that librarians hide books with which they disagree, because, since Socrates, their only goal is to corrupt the young, the innocent and the virgins. LOL You don't look very familiar with libraries and books.

It's a classic autoritarian and conservative plot. Knowledge is power, and they are fcking scared of it.

I will say only one thing: the touch bar.

it's funny what tech people consider Art. LOL

what best way to "to preserve end-to-end encryption" than shipping a technology that can bypass it anytime?

to avoid confusion Ferros should have chosen a different and better name, considering that magic-warmhole is an older project doing more or less the same thing (with different and better technology and it's real free software)

the phone book are completely a different animal. As example they are almost useless to reverse lookup a number...

If the profit is the only measure that a lot of people here seem to consider: why not just burning the trash in the air, pouring polluted water directly in the ocean and allowing toxic material in our food chain? Do we want forbidding people to become rich doing nothing for others? These markets are bigger than several GDP of many countries, "whether you like it or not".

Brave has a long way to go to build real trust. Too many reckless stuff: hijacking links, suspicious url-rewriting, crypto-token stunts, forgetting to communicate with users about serious privacy leaks with their faulty TOR window... also it looks like they care about privacy only in their PR brochures.

It does not seems very different than other trades made illegal/wrong because they make people rich at huge community costs: like destroying the nature and the planet. I am thinking about Ivory trade, or rare animals, or furs etc etc... But people are too busy to get rich to thing about the consequences.
