Hard Agree, Semantic Kernal, On the other hand seems to actually be a value add on top of the simple API calls. Have you guys tried it ?

I can relate , My retired Dad discovered GPT and has been using it to post pages-long updates about his retirement trip. It's got a strong "oh god, the olds have taken Facebook" vibe.

I love my Dad and want to hear about his adventures, but knowing it's AI-generated makes me recoil immediately. It’s hard to shake the doubt, and I worry that I'll start dismissing even his genuine messages.

This got me thinking about the development world. We all know that one guy at work who shits out GPT code left and right. Being "the GPT guy" is not something you want. Even though I use GPT, I admit the frequency less openly and can only assume others do as well. It feels like a crazy dance we're all doing. Trust in their abilities diminishes (and likely their ability as well) , and people might resist reviewing AI-generated code, fearing it lacks the depth and understanding that comes from human effort.

everyone talks about the AI is going to replace devs but underestimate the psychological resistance and acceptance of the people actually making the decisions

I think this is really awesome. Our company has a monolithic giant that is full of tech debt and high support cost from our on premise web application. Half the battle is asking the clients to send screenshots or properly explain the issue. For us would be an easy sell if we could integrate natively with the apps front end tech stack.
