Higher education is generally a scam to trick most students into believing they'll learn anything useful to their adult career. There will be some successes due to education, but the vast majority of students can't handle it or end up in pointless jobs/careers...and debt they cannot pay. Some of the blame should be on the students, but most on the schools.
No accountability and certainly no guaranty...most schools suck and are simply collecting checks...they should refund most students, and learn what it's like to take a financial hit...currently it's a no lose situation for schools, and has been for decades.
