Less for laws to govern the 90% to allow the driving population an easier time of it.
if someone wants to drive that metal death machine, then you need to prove you are capable. Or risk it and take the automatic jail time - like knife carrying.
Traditionally the discount for cash in many professions is due to avoiding tax.
i.e. a plumber will do a job for cheaper if they are paid in cash as they won't be declaring that work in their accounts - avoiding the ~20% tax that would be due otherwise.
Sadly I've wasted many hours of life in focus groups watching the mob navigate. Back buttons are *used prodigiously, and woe betide anyone who breaks a gesture swipe back - that one gets scowls.
zero experience in this, so this might not be true. I read that due to the way most cities control parking Uber drivers often end up driving around waiting for the next fare.
Increasing cars on the road + pollution. Although you could argue there are technically less cars, it feels like there are more.
Cities exist because of people/trade/geography, occasionally humans miss a place, or something about the above changes and centrally planning one works.
And the reverse happens too, climate change, technology, and movement of people can all *end a city.
England has this in a microcosm in the north. Huge great cities sprung and died on the change in technology. America is going through the same process with Detroit and rust belt.
My argument is you don’t need to counter the original vote, only to make the difference between the two votes. It’s the sway that matters more than anything else.
Why there hasn’t been a counter pro-brexit petition yet I have no idea. Those numbers would be higher purely on the zealotry.
It was also weird and slightly dangerous growing up in North London and not being allowed to carry a knife. Less dangerous than prison though.
*should clarify the law states it's a certain length, so Stanley knifes are ok, pocket or flicks. Non.
