> You are mandated to take a vacation of at least 2 weeks every year (once you reach a certain level), the idea being that any “off books stuff” you may be doing would get exposed.
Web & App Activity is basically the collection of each of your interaction with Google that was recorded. It includes the list of all websites you visited while logged in, the time that you opened any app on your Android phone, the locations that you've visited etc.
It was a electronics tinkering game where you had different components like timers, light bulbs, switches, gravity testers and what not, which you could connect with wires and build interesting things.
They had several demos that you could check out, like poem generators, dog barking sound generator machine and other interesting stuff.
As a kid, it really helped fuel my imagination to make new contraptions out of random things.
I haven't seen an alternate that works on modern systems or phones. The original version, I believe, worked only till Windows ME or so.
It should work only for those phones which came with Avast factory installed. After you do a factory reset and turn on phone, they send an SMS to contact their server. This gives them the phone number which can then be used by the server to send remote commands to the phone.
One of my phones had McAfee pre-installed with a similar setup. If you do a factory reset and they find that it is a different phone number now, the phone locks down (You can enter a pin to unlock). You can't even access the bootloader or do another factory reset.
It takes some effort to find jobs where clients are willing to pay a premium for quality.
I've used Upwork before - if you are experienced enough, you can easily filter the client by a combination of amount spent, average hourly rate paid, prior feedback by contractors, feedback given to contractors and their estimate price (or expertise) for the project. Apply/respond only if the client matches your filter.
But as others have mentioned here, it is cut-throat competition - you have to be patient and very choosy.
"The Grid[0] harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to take everything you throw at it - videos, images, text, urls and more - and automatically shape them into a custom website unique to you"
Not the OP, but I think he means that search should be decentralized with respect to regional differences, not computing. Eg, Baidu is better positioned to give more relevant results in China
