Why don’t you care about the rule of law?

Go look up some of their clients.

Edit: post is from the creator of the site, whose only other history on HN is trying to get interest in a vibe coded learning app by calling himself the “Elon Musk” and “Kanye” of Ed-Tech. Truly a larper.

It took the place of another more relevant story that could’ve been on the front page

24/7 isolation with no stimulation outside of work? Wonder if the hallucination rate would be higher or lower

Not sure why you’re getting downvotes, this is exactly the case, along with I’m sure a nice payoff from the prediction markets for sponsored segments. Same reason betting odds are so heavily integrated into sports news

You know what’s also great? A five minute phone call. Cuts through endless email chains and creates an instant human connection. You don’t need 30 minutes if you have competent support personnel who know how to deal with needy customers.

1) they can be selective with which arrests result in charges

2) prosecutors can tell police straight up what they will or won’t prosecute, which affects what crimes cops will investigate or make an arrest for

Watch out for the press release where Dario denies this was ever intentional, and it’s actually emergent behavior demonstrating that Claude wants to claim authorship of its works

If that’s your opinion, I don’t think you know what actual leftism is.

Always amusing when people discover they’re paying for free services with something other than money.

Poverty and lack of economic opportunity are the biggest drivers of street-level crime. Good thing we have all these AI layoffs.

You know the rights to those tariff refunds were all bought up by Howard Lutnick’s old company for pennies on the dollar right? It’s just another grift

How many court orders has the US govt completely ignored? Do the bought and paid for members of SCOTUS ever rule against Trump or their donors?

> It's just one guy, running experiments the way he see's fit.

This is moronic. Exercising a degree of control does not equate to making every decision and running every organization.

I’m sad for you that propaganda has destroyed your critical thinking ability. Qwen is an Alibaba product, Deepseek is from a private Chinese hedge fund. Those are not the CCP. The Chinese economy has vastly evolved in the last decades. The CCP doesn’t have any more special control over the Chinese labs than the US has over our labs. The White House can do whatever it wants to keep labs in line. Fable just got pulled because the US gov ordered Anthropic not to give access to any foreign nationals, including Anthropic employees.

Let’s not act like the US government isn’t subsidizing AI either with massive contracts. Anthropic is selling subscriptions at a loss; reselling tokens is just arbitrage.

So where are those regulations?
