I'm using Apple Studio Displays and have been on the lookout for a solution like this for quite a while. My grail is a Thunderbolt KVM; there are a couple on the market, but they cost a fortune and have terrible reviews. I guess the use case is so narrow that nobody is investing in it.
An alternative could be a good 5K/6K monitor with a KVM, but this is a unicorn as well...
I wonder how this cat-and-mouse game will end. I've been using my own wrapper around Claude CLI that overcomes some 'claude -p' limitations, and now I have even more reasons to.
But inevitably, this will end, ultimately making AI a bit less accessible for consumers.
1. SwiftBar has more plugin types, i.e. quite a bit more flexible and covers more usecases
2. SwiftBar is more actively maintained
3. SwiftBar has a bunch of minor\quality of life features, such as Notifications suppport, integration with Shortcuts, extensive URL-scheme, support for custom Plugin Repositories(useful in a company setting).
4. The only major feature that SwiftBar lacks, comparing to bitbar\xbar is built-in parametrization support
