It's just fucking laughable how Firefox apologists disregard Firefox showing you Pocket ads in the home page, or sending your private data to Cliqz (yes yes I know they had to disable that after the outrage) and then saying "well hurr if you don't like it then disable it". So, the same way you can disable things in Chrome. When they get out of arguments, they say "you can't trust Google won't fuck up again". But can you trust the Mozilla Corporation!?
Yes yes I would also love to see a browser made by someone who cares about your privacy, but thus far this is what we have.
People have been bitching about Chrome too, and those things they were bitching about can also be disabled using flags. Turns out Google and the Mozilla Corporation are not so different after all!
If this was about a man (i.e. being a laureate and not having an article) this post would've never existed.
>someone had drafted an article for her in March of this year, only to have it declined. The reason? Not enough citations to “independent secondary sources” that would establish her notability
Maybe your problem is not sexism, but that your administrators are jackasses.
Clearly nobody thought she was relevant enough. You're saying she didn't have an article only because she's a woman, but you, Katherine Maher, don't show any kind of evidence of that. You just want to stir the pot. Fuck off.
