Love this. As a founder with an engineering background I often struggled with all sorts of legal terms and concepts. And it always seemed that people made me feel dumb every time I asked something like: "what's the difference between between LLC and Inc", or "what is a stock option?".
I think that in fields outside of science and engineering people are more quick to judge you when you make seemingly simple questions...
When I read your comment it made it seem like the WSJ was praising Belarus for banning Tor, which is not the case. (at least from reading the portion of the article that is not behind a paywall)
Actually as far as Immigration goes, I don't think Thiel is great champion to pick. Even tho he himself was born in Germany, he has in fact donated millions of dollars to NumbersUSA, a lobbying organization that seeks to reduce US immigration to pre-1965 levels.
