As for concerning that's funny ... Uber stole my money and laughed, then caused other ppl I know financial harm and then all this stuff comes out in the press about them. I loathe Uber that is all ... no more no less.

I am very bitter after Uber pretty much laughed at my Uber account being hacked and thus $1k stolen from me. These hacks were happening about a dozen or more a day for months and years and did they respond properly by alerting users that they should change their password? No, their PR blamed it on the users saying those getting hacked should have used a stronger password or something to that extent.
Further, thousand of us aspire to reach Kalanick's heights and to see all lack of graciousness and humility for his position is disgusting! His persona is one of a greedy BRO who thinks he's king one who needs to be kicked off his horse and learn humility! Thankfully it looks like this is slowly happening!!!
Give it up Travis and save Uber or continue being your greedy BRO king self and in turn burn Uber to the ground.

These guys are criminals... total disregard for human life (but their own) in every shape and way there is. From potentially killing people, too treating everyone is who not their BRO like trash; drivers, employees, customers, business partners, etc, etc, etc... GROSS!
I signed up in 2009 .. never used it and forgot about it.
In 2013 or 14 or earlier Uber accounts started to get hacked because people did not use the strongest Username and Password . Uber knew about these hacks and their PR was it's the user's fault vs. sending out emails alerting all users to change their passwords to something crazy secure and utilize 2fa. No they did not do that .. they just released a statement saying it's their users faults.
The hacks happened a dozen times a day for months to years per searching twitter ... drivers in some far off country ... charging obscene amounts for a ride in London for example. The majority of these hacks/stolen money were coming from London.
Then as a user you want to immediately cut ties with Uber, but no there was no way to cancel your account and be done with these scumbags .. you had to send them an email and it took five days for them to cancel my account. All the while I was worried that it might happen again within those five days.
Then years later all this other stuff comes out about Uber.
They never cared for anyone who wasn't Kalanick's BRO ... from their drivers to their employees to their customers to whomever did business with them.
BenchMark is so right to try and rid Uber of that egomaniac... it's all about him vs. everyone else. I hope he keeps being himself ... he's just going to bring down Uber and only hold the ashes that once was Uber in hands!!!
Uber needs to go the way of the dodo bird! Let Lyft and others take it's place. Maybe Lyft buys Uber.
Personally and after Uber let $1k get stolen from my bank account and laughed via their bro PR statement (it's the users' fault)it's been great to see all their bad behavior come back to bite them.

I quit mine 120k job because Im not dealing with any disrespect and or unfairness! For 3 months I tried to work out a situation with a co-worker but it was a constant fight with this jerk. Tried to get managements help, but no help or concern was provided.
There's too much opportunity to deal with any B.S. no matter the money you are paying me...ok id deal with some if it paid $250k and the govt took zero.
I just wish Apple allow devs to built apps into the build in camera vs. having to open tons of apps.
Camera's on all smartphones is the most used app why not make even more useful and fun to use?
Also, wearing any AR or VR headset is a horrible experience. AR needs to be created where it's seen and enjoyed without a headset! It just needs to blend in with daily life sans the need to wear a headset.
DC and Baltimore is the land of govt contracting where designers and developers can command hourly rates of 60 to 100 an hour based on skill-set. There's tons of demand too and the cost of living is fairly inexpensive.
I just left my high paying govt contract job as I tried working things out with a co-worker who suddenly became a real S#$t to work with .. tried one on one with him & then with management. Overall nothing changed after months so I left and will be starting a better paying job in 2 weeks. There's too much demand to sit and take crap from anyone.
