Looks more like AI slop with paragraphs like these; > The pattern is identical across the board. Price for adoption, not for economics. Lock organizations in. Make AI a load-bearing part of every team's daily workflow. Worry about the bill later.

When I saw the name, Googlebook I had my fingers crossed that Google had finally built something that could compete with the Apple MacBook. If that ad is anything to go by, this will flop and there will be no shortage of consumers who will go along for the ride.

If it ends up having ML-centric hardware, like a version of their TPUs, the story could change, especially if they don't try to keep it locked within their ecosystem. Local AI is the future.

Is there any other African country that’s not this beholden to China?

Not. You don’t need to pay $100 to upload your app to an iPhone, even with XCode for iOS 26

Wasn’t composer trained on Kimi? Has anyone had a chance to compare the latest Kimi model to composer?

Anthropic shouldn't have released it. The gains are marginal at best. This release feels more like Opus 4.6 with better agentic capabilities. Mythos is what I expected Opus 4.7 to be. Are users gonna be charged more with this release, for such marginal gains. It could set a bad precedent.

Looks like a lightweight article. But memory usage went from 316MB -> 502 MB when I hit refresh. Not sure why? Any one have any ideas? Why does it need half a gig of ram in the first place?

Interesting post. Curious to know how they arrived at intelligence density = Negative log of the model's error rate divided by the model size.
