DuckDB supports this as well, depending on which benchmark you look at it regularly performs better on those datasets than Polars.

I'm in a similar situation, having many volunteers does not mean we have the budget to pay 5-10 euros per month for all of them for all the tools needed for work. Self-hosting and managed hosting of open-source software are the best option for us, including SSO and password management

I don't believe it when Microsoft announces it, but when two separate trustworthy-looking hn accounts tell me something is crazy good that seems like valuable information to me.

I don't know if this is being done already, but couldn't we add some training data to teach the LLM how to spell? We also teach kids what each letter means and how they combine into words. Maybe we can do this with tokens as well? E.g.:

Token 145 (ar) = Token 236 (a) + Token 976 (r)

Repeat many times with different combinations and different words?

I think sametmax was saying that "everybody" is using React for usecases that Django could do long ago, and that Svelte is in the "gaining traction" category.

On indeed.com I get 311 Django jobs and 3421 React jobs so in that sense it looks like "everybody" moved from Django to React.
