Interested in mathematics (particularly computation, complexity theory, and dynamics), physics (some fringe theories of physics such as quantised inertia and Einstein-Cartan theory which arguments general relativity with torsion), economics (particularly macroeconomics), and programming (C, FORTRAN, LISP, ABAP, Mathematica, and Python).

I live in currently-dismal Italy and help run a my family’s non-tech manufacturing firm mostly for the benefit of the employee whose livelihoods depend on this firms firm continued existence. Not what I wanted to do with my life buy I consider it a duty in exchange for all the benefits I received in happier times.
This is personally mildly disturbing because I remember beta-testing Windows 2000 on DEC Alpha back in late 1999, and eventually running Windows 2000 and BeOS on a dual PIII-450 machine (with 256 MB of RAM, SCSI HDs, and eventually an ATI Rage Fury graphics card… amazing back then and archaic nowadays).
Windows 9x and Me weren’t really the predecessors of Windows 2000; it’s real predecessor was Windows ant 4.0. They are very different lineages, with the former descending from 16 bit MS-DOS and Windows until version 3.11 and arguably being rooted in a copy of 1970s’ CP/M whereas the NT lineage was a clean implementation of a modern OS by David Cutler of VMS fame.
I’m a naturist and though we’re butt of many jokes we exist and there are perfectly functional and happy FKK families with perfectly normal kids that will be shattered by this if it goes through.
Personally I hate chatbots and natural language interfaces. Give me a well-structured window with widgets or better still a command line. Case in point: that now when you double click on a time in Apple’s iCal it brings up a free-entry text box to “describe” the engagement rather than a structured window with title, location, beginning and ending times drives me insane.
I’m a nudist and I know FKK families with kids. This is going herd them into discrimination for their own good. To
Most people we’re the punchline of a joke but we exist and we have our social lives and our norms and there’s evidence that children raised in FKK environments have fewer body image issues and better mental outcomes.
Personally, I consider Ethel Cain’s American Teenager (2022) to be the most definitively “2020s sound” yet, but that’s probably just an elder millennial who doesn’t get modern culture’s ignorant hot take.
