> 2) Consider your phone number and SIM card insecure.
Your phone number is an obvious attack vector. I think having a dual sim phone with 2fa dedicated number that is not publicly associated with you, possibly with the carrier that has it's security in order, would decrease the odds of getting hacked.
In general, fix your stuff before buying new or buy used. Or at least try to extend the time between purchasing a replacement.
Better yet if You think about new startup don't just create another super smart and sneaky ad technology but try to find an idea that contributes to humanity or the environment. After all, it's not the idea but your grit and perseverance that will take you to the top so why not make it matter.
It's an excellent time to collect super rare stamps. Common stamps declined in value and a lot of abandoned collections are sold for next to nothing so it's easier than ever to look for some hidden gems. In 10-20 years, when all the random collections disappear it'll be a super specialized market with high prices again based on scarcity. Some years ago when I was into cars, I could buy any beaten up BMWs for less than €1000 including E24 6-series or E9. Sometimes I'd find a gem in super an excellent condition, and it still followed price trend with an abundance of similar cars for sale. Now with all these cars junked to buy a parts E24 you need to have upwards of €7000.
I do not believe the ceramics story. It is either nice fake to prove the point or what that particular teacher valued was a natural expression rather than perfection. Applying that principle to photography would mean that every one of us is now an artist because we made 1000s of vacation photos and photographers that used just film cameras are bound to produce lower quality work. I've also seen many startups that generated a lot of low-quality code that became a tech debt super fast, and all it needed is someone stopping the line and rethinking the whole thing.
It calls for some company to create an efficient electronic nose. Build a database of disease markers, save lives, and say farewell to the health condition privacy.
