The point isn't really how fast it is, the point is how fast it is AS well as how connected it is to China. You have French trains that go 600 km/h or whatever and that's cool yes but have you seen a French transit system at that speed connecting the entire country together? Nope
Every time I go to China (to visit relatives) I expect to be in this sort of dystopic society like how everyone describes it, yet here I find probably the most integrated system of people and technology. Credit cards don't exist, everyone pays via QR code and phone. Tickets are on your phone, a simple monorail travels fast, with security, and the stations are actually clean (unlike NYC). In a certain sense you could say it's the future that you see in some movies. Too bad everything is blocked and you can feel yourself being watched all the time. But I guess that comes with the added benefit of safety in some regards.
Like it or Hate it China's economy is on the rise, and fast as well.
Take Tencent for example, they own big stocks in many American companies, (e.x 50% in Reddit) but despite what many people will assume they'll do, censoring anti-china posts, they don't do anything and let the companies they invest in grow. That way they can get massive amounts of money since their income isn't limited by their beliefs.
If you're looking for something as reliable as 2015 or macbook pro's that don't have butterfly keyboards then maybe this isn't a good choice. But specwise it's even better (display and internals) and the trackpad is probably best in all windows computers (they're basically trying to mimic macbooks).
However, like I said before, they aren't exactly the most reliable laptops, but when they work, they work REALLY well
The voting system is extremely important if not necessary for any sort of forum site. Like phail said you won't be able to find quality content, which means if the site takes off or gains enough followings it will devolve into chaos of shitposting, fake news, and garbage. Of course there still will be good content yes but you won't be able to tell one from another.
