It would be more interesting to see "apple to apples" comparison such as "Docker vs Mesos Containerizer vs CRI-O" or "Xen vs QEMU vs KVM". But I'm glad to see this level of analysis!
strict competition on price only benefits the end consumer, but not the ecosystem! In the end it's just a matter of ethics & values which concerns our society as a whole!
I see lots of comments talking about the return on investment (~4% YoY) and the ~$60M in bonuses, etc. But I don't see anyone questioning why there is so much money invested in other companies outside Norway.
I'm curious to know:
1) Why do we have a savings Fund with double of the annual GDP? Should we have a limit? Why the excess is not invested locally?
2) Is there an existing plan to define when the money will be directed to the Norway economy? The current GDP per capita is around $68K which doesn't seem that much compared to the amount of money in the country's saving account. Why not invest in education and/or technology?
3) Why there are a few people earning so much money (e.g. ~$60M bonus) to manage the country's assets? Is the real purpose to make money or save the money for future generations?
Bullshit, this journalist is totally biased. Most of the corrupters are related to the PT party (same party in which Dilma and Lula are affiliated to). It's very sad to see all this happening in Brazil! :/ I hope the corruption installed into the government institutions are diminished or stopped completely. At the moment the honest politicians are the exception. WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT!
Thanks for your reply! I tried xpra and it seems to be much better! It also fixed the issue with the keyboard messed-up on Mac OSX. I will publish an update on GitHub soon!
Exactly. It's better because you can build that image anywhere where there is docker installed and it can be easily moved/upgraded and ready to run. But if you think only locally, then there is no much difference, despite that docker lighter and faster.
