An intriguing text. But the whole reason Angular will fail is because its too difficult? Really? Have you tried to develop for your "savior" Steve Jobs? iOS development is difficult, probably way more than it should be. The reason its successful is because you can make A LOT of money with it. Same with web development, especially well-organized and stable systems, which can be achieved with AngularJS by a relatively mediocre developer.
Well, I do like Amazon stuff and I pay for Prime each year. But I have to say that nothing pops out to me for this product. I have an Apple TV and that seems to do everything that I need it to (although the interface is a bit tedious). I bought the chromecast because it was so cheap, but my phone can't detect the device half the time (AP Isolation issue), so that was a major fail on Google's device. If this device was $49.99 I would pick it up certainly.
Oh my goodness. There are so many problems with this.
1. Giving the code to someone else to maintain is going to be a nightmare. You'll have to spend so much time explaining each iteration of abstraction.
2. You have spent so much valuable time abstracting and at the end of it, getting little functionality for your troubles.
3. You are attempting to skew the very nature of Javascript. It was designed the way it is for a reason. Meddling with this is going to result in a multitude of unforeseen problems, such as performance and debugging issues. Solving a lot of these problems is going to require thorough testing and absolving layers of abstraction.
Theoretically, these ideas are cool. They look good in a GitHub repo. But in the real world, there's simply no place for this.
Wasted time playing games? You lost me there sir. I went through a period of not playing games, it was awful. Speak for yourself, but I can code 20x better after have a game session break. I suppose everybody has to release and relax in their own way. Taking a step back from the terminal every now and then is vital to success. BTW, life is too short to be in a job you hate. Unless you have serious immigration (or lack of healthcare) consequences like this chap, then tell your manager to shove it and run :)
If you're lucky enough to find somebody smart enough to understand the website AND want to hire you, then you can count on the fact that they are going to limit you to backend development. Developing and designing user interfaces are obviously NOT the website author's strong point. Additionally, by looking at the GitHub projects, backend development isn't a strong point either.
Why limit available data around the senseless syntax of a query language? Linux commands are much faster and way more easier to use / reuse via a bash script. Modifying an enormous SQL command is going to be a maintenance nightmare. Especially in a few years, when the SQL DBA will basically be extinct.
