I am experienced Data Tech-lead , with track record of deploying Data products like recommenders, Realtime leaderboards, Inventory Forecasting, Streaming Platforms for Companies like Skyscanner, Fanduel and Faasos ( Rebel Food) etc.
My problem has been are we playing catchup with the latest and greatest of tech, instead of solving problem's without rebuilding foundation every few years. At least in library/framework sense.
So for bleeding edge stuff it works out well or in places where documentation is not great like Apache Flink.
