Thank you for your feedback. Saddly at this time the try out widget is not feature complete as the display. I may remove it completely as it gives a false impression of what the display can do.
An ESP32 is way cheaper and has Wifi and BLe as well. I updated a label printer with an ESP32-S3 to add wifi[1] and it has plenty performance. It is even available with dual-band wifi 6[2]. Most processing is done outside the printer on the sending party anyway.
I don't know why you are getting down voted. I wrote the article and that is the point of the article. A free market requires proper and smart regulation to work for all the people to get the best product.
How are these companies legally setup in the US? Is there a concept of a co-op or do you setup an LLC?
In Switzerland we have the concept of a "Genossenschaft"[1] which is a legal form for a company entered in the official company register like every other company for co-ops. You need to be at least 7 people to start one.
The largest two food super markets are both co-ops (Migros and Coop) and also the largest car sharing company Mobility is a co-op.
As a company I can not trust putting large sums of investment into using a product that may disappear the next day due to a government deciding at a whim that it should not longer be available. No contract can protect me from this and I doubt I would find an insurance that would cover this risk.
This forces me the build fallback solutions and diversify most likely resulting in not using the tech from the "high risk" provider.
Building a product on top of something like this is actually worse than building a product on top of Meta like Zynga did.
I have been heavily using DeepSeek V4 Pro at Max for a month now and I would say it is 100x cheaper. If I pay for Claude I will hit that limit so fast I am always waiting 5 hours. Using the frontier models at Kilo I go through dollars while doing the same thing via DeepSeek it is pennies.
There are no Chinese military personnel and bases in Europe. The Chinese have not tried to take European land by force and China is also quite stable. It won't change it's mind every 4 years and negate international treaties that have been signed. I also don't recall China invading another country and/or kidnapping leaders of a foreign state in recent history. China also does not control the global reserve currency and can not unilaterally impose debilitating sanction on countries such as Cuba causing the death of thousands of innocent people because of some historical beef.
Yes, China does not have a good human rights record, they imprison a lot of political dissidence but then who are we comparing them too? The US has a 5x worse per capita prison population than China and a horrific human rights record.
What exactly bothers you so much about China that the US does not?
> Israel invaded Lebanon and found massive amounts of tunnels and military equipment.
After Gaza I will need verified by third party evidence of this.
Also what business does Israel have to complain about another states tunnels and weapons? I don't agree with Israel having nuclear weapons, it doesn't give me the right to decide on my own to go into Israel and try to take them away.
Lebanon being part of the deal requirement by Iran is a brilliant tactical move. It tests how serious the US is in keeping up their end of the deal and it causes severe infighting internally in the US. Iran managed to cause conflict between two allies.
