I think the reasoning behind this is that ideally you're at the location where you can confirm what you see, instead of maybe referring to older media or from memory.

That being said, I agree with you and would like to see more ways to access the tool!

I do watch how much I'm consuming the news as it does impact my day, but part of the problem is that when I eventually go to look at news online, I'm immediately confronted with 8+ blurbs of what's made up of a majority of bad news.

I would like to look at one bad thing at a time, please, but I know that's likely not compatible with money making models.

Absolutely, yeah. I use that when data is limited, but haven't come back to it in a while. Thanks for reminding me!

Same! To the point that when I'm home I'm usually playing outdoor ambient noise mimicking that.

I'm willing to be wrong, but it's specifically mentioned as an analogy for abuse in the article itself.

Not trying to turn everything "woke", but phrasing of scenarios around this just takes away from the severity of what actual abuse is.

I think we need to be a bit more careful and considerate around the use of language around physical abuse, or abuse in general, and using software.

Saying that here as someone that isn't fond of the Windows experience these days, but the two are not relatable.

I notice the delay, but I try to check myself with it. Not everything has to be instant gratification. We're ruining our brains.
