He was able to buy preferred shares, according to this article, and the point of that is he became a Google Billionaire (barely) rather than a regular old Google Millionaire.
NYPost is a tabloid, so probably clickbait. I've seen this posted another time earlier today -- surprised the HN deduping algorithm didn't roll them together.
What makes a newspaper a tabloid? Are there objective criteria? Recently the NYPost was one of the few big media organizations to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story, which was legitimate at the time and has since been totally vindicated. If NYPost is correctly called a tabloid, what is the word for a newspaper that fails to cover important stories in order to protect bigshots?
As I recall, they were temporarily removed from Twitter for covering that story. If there is a meaningful distinction here, it may be a partisan one.
I will acknowledge that he was one of the first employees of Google and made important early contributions. Is this just a newspaper making up a headline for clickbait?
