This article is so accurate, I always have the same seed but haven't got the right words to express that. I mean how many people in the world work hard, a lot, but only a minor part of them get success stories. In the sport, the same a lot of athletes work as if is no tomorrow but only a minor part of them will get the popularity they deserve. We need to just prepare that hard work does not always get its fruits.
Well, you just need to become an expert by yourself. I mean when I need to buy something for example "headphones" or "gaming mouse" I just watch reviews on YouTube and read negative reviews on Amazon. So I can better choose a product for my needs. I tried to find some useful sources but in the end, all of them have some relation with the products they suggest.
So sad to hear about an experience like this, for this reason, is very important to secure your accounts with 2FA (two-factor authentication) even if your password or email will get compromised they still won't be able to access your accounts with a specific code. In your case, they used 2FA for preventing you to access your own account, it's ironic that the 2FA system that was created in order to protect users is used to prevent them to access their accounts.

I need to mention TikTok, it's evident that TikTok is the game-changer, but the most important is that TikTok got so many users from Meta(Facebook & Instagram) and YouTube. TikTok is the unique reason why Facebook has lost users for the first time in its history. Here you can find more info(https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/02/02/faceboo...). Maybe in a couple of years, TikTok (ByteDance) will be the next big tech out there.
Thank you for your feedback, noted in the To-Do list, to develop a native app for every device. About subscription, I'm not so sure as it helps developers to keep working and improving the project, for example, if we opt for a lifetime purchase, users who purchase this kind of offer would be needed to keep using the app to recover the value they paid.
We plan to use iCloud Drive from start, and we plan to add more possibilities to sync data in the upcoming versions.
