I heard the news about some people who were feeding the grid with their excess electricity their solar panels generate got a charged instead of credit. So taxes on this is not far-fetched idea.
it's actually weaker than before, and these who left are the kind that power hungry with no class or protocols of the leadership(that died), bunch of power hungry, blood thirsty mid level leaders who understand that they cannot allow the regime to change, at all cost, they even forced the son of the previous leader to take the reign (which in reality just a public face). they are actually more brutal and the chances of change from within through the people of iran is even smaller than before by multiple orders of magnitude.
now, why the regime didn't collapse? 2 things, 1. mesh network so they don't need to have a central command 2. they know they will be executed if they lose the grip on power.
it's actually weaker but more brutal now than ever, against their own people and against the outsider threats. like a cornered rats with no escape so they decided a fight to death.
considering Trump's personality, i don't think this is a win, his followers certainly wouldn't like that as well. I'm pretty sure this idea isn't even part of their stream of thoughts that trump is a puppet of bibi and this whole war was conducted following the command from Netanyahu.
more like weaker iran than ever, now that the central command are gone, no leader at the top and no high level generals, the power at the hand of mid level thugs of the IRGC.
>but Nvidia trying to make the GPU the center of a Windows PC rather than an add-in card
over the last decade, many software (especially the popular and industry standard ones) shifted to GPU accelerated design. it's a push before NVIDIA even tried to capitalize on that.
guaranteed it will be like Qualcomm arm, it's a partnership with Microsoft after all. we may see a community project to make Linux work on it but it will not have an official first class support and many things will likely not work properly.
Hopefully the billions money in AI will find some of its to turn this into real life applications. AI inference would love some more faster more efficient communication.
I mean, Photonic computing already got the attention of these big tech companies.
They actually need it because the demand is higher than expected from consumers. And because they need a moat since every big corporation trying to capture that market too, they need the moat for the biggest compute and energy they can get.
Also businesses is were the money at, not regular consumers (especially tech-savvy folk who run models locally).
If somehow you are here because of my replies looks weird, that because English is my third language.
