My driving instructor and parents all told me that driving in the left lane when not passing is illegal and that people who do it are dickheads. I see signs reminding people to stay in the right lane when not passing on a regular basis.
Is it just the state I live in (WA) or is the rule not as solid as I thought?
There isn't a shortage of engineers, there's a shortage of highly-experienced engineers that won't need training. Companies would rather wait months to poach an employee trained by another company than take up the task of training entry-level employees themselves.
This is just my personal opinion being a recent college grad, but I feel like if companies were really so desperate for new engineers they wouldn't put multiple-years experience requirements on all of their entry-level job postings.
I feel like auto-play ads make sense on youtube because youtube is a video service and you go in expecting a video anyway. It's like a TV commercial.
I get super pissed by auto-play ads on non-video websites, but when it's in front of a video such as on youtube I find it only a minor annoyance.
[EDIT: I don't know if there are auto-play ads in the sidebar on desktop, I use adblock on desktop so I only see those video ads on the mobile version, which doesn't have anywhere else to put ads]
