You need density so that normal people can still afford to live there. Otherwise you'll just have all the big cities turn into places for the elites of the societies while the rest needs to live on the outskirts.
It's even harder in Europe in some ways. Housing is expensive there too and while you got free education and Healthcare, the salaries are much lower than the US. Source: look at the birth rates in Europe vs US.
Come on. You can have someone do a great job creating a tool that nobody uses. The experience acquired building that tool is independent of the subsequent market demand.
Come on... He's not complaining about lack of voting. Obviously everyone is abiding by formal procedures. The problem is when congress passes bills under one name while it contains a myriad of unrelated legislation. This is bad for public transparency.

There would be no gangs fighting and much lower levels of overdose and abuse if you could pick up your cheap, clean, legal cocaine/heroin/etc. at an official dispensary if you needed it. Portugal is showing the way.
