Netflix will only dumb kids down. It is not a freethinking platform controlled by people interested in letting children think outside the box. Because it is an oligarch-owned platform controlled by profit-driven people only interested in showing formulaic shows that have predictable plots and political correctness without much intellectual depth. It's why independent writers who want to write shows that inspire unpredictable plots and unfiltered imagination are having a harder time finding jobs that pay well. Because America, China, the U.K, Australia, North Korea, and other countries have become a police dystopia with an increasing amount of dehumanizing censorship. They are controlled by cut-throat rulers who attack investigative journalists and human rights activists to keep a small group of people extremely wealthy during the pandemic. It's an oligarchy.
Holier-than-thou parents are still going to control what books children read at the expense of children's intellectual growth. A lot of parents underestimate their children and limit their children's knowledge through "family-frendly" censorship nonsense at the expense of intellectual growth, too. As a result, many children up with average I.Q's because society bullies them into being ordinary pawns of parents or government authorities. It is idiocracy. It is why geniuses and freethinkers are rare.
Watching television is not always detrimental to children's mental health. There are educational videos. Sometimes children learn quicker when they watch videos instead of reading. Not that I am against children reading books.
But I will say many parents are ignorantly flawed behind their pretentious attempts at keeping their children away from danger. Which this world was never meant to be safe completely despite what the delusionally optimistic people with fragile egos say.
This is going to be my perspective. Sorry, not sorry. But I find that Netflix, Facebook, and Instagram are controlled by wealthy oligarchs who promote anti-freethinking censorship. None of their platforms respect online anonymity, either. They are wealthy stalkers who want to train your kids into becoming impulsive consumers as adults by tracking their online activities.
My perspective is that most people have lower I.Q's, are short-sighted, and don't teach kids about reality fully by playing it safe. Which is why you end up with kids behaving like unprepared idiots when they are adults. As a result of that, it is no surprise to me when independent journalists, geniuses, unconventional writers, and activists are rare who won't be mainstream media sellouts.

Because these wealthy oligarchs have found a way to monopolize the online world with anti-freethinking censorship and surveillance, I fear for kids' intellectual growth. The online world has become Orwellianistically monopolized by these wealthy oligarchs from what I experienced. I had more creative freedom when expressing my thoughts and feelings on popular platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. Now, that creative freedom has significantly decreased on them by the rise of anti-freethinking censorship. It is to only benefit wealthy oligarchs who want impulsive consumers that are spineless. It is a dystopian nightmare for genuinely unconventional writers who care about free speech, intellectual freedom, and online privacy. No, I am not talking about the mainstream writers who are politically correct shills to companies owned by wealthy oligarchs who want to enslave most people internationally for geopolitical control. For example, Netflix does not have real comedy. It has "comedians" who are shills. The corporate shills who own that Netflix company silence activists that want to expose political corruption and climate change caused by these wealthy oligarchs.
There are genuine people that have been blacklisted from Hollywood, Netflix, and other mainstream things because they do not want to promote war propaganda from America's military-industrial complex. Owners of "United" States have grabbed Netflix by the throat violently by not letting activists use that platform to expose corrupt oligarchs who get their military puppets killed for profit via blood money while these filthily wealthy oligarchs stay alive. It is quite demonic really. But of course, Netflix will always be a shill platform where victims of war never get their justice. Because there is no justice as long as these wealthy oligarchs brainwash lower class children with dumbed down platforms that teach them a false sense of security. Which allows these wealthy oligarchs living in luxury during the pandemic to continuously have geopolitical control of our world while most people are struggling to survive.
If I was a parent, then my child would be taught what is happening in our world. Because I prefer justice rather than giving my child a false sense of security that makes them ignorantly vulnerable to wealthy predators who care about profit and power more than people's well-being. I think parents who don't let their children watch rated R movies are holier-than-thou and teaching their kids to be closed-mindedly naïve. Being naïve is how a civilization collapses and poverty begins. Civilizations are built because children are taught to grow up by understanding harsh reality and become competitively competent workers after getting proper education. Not by being spoiled brats who are very ignorant cowards that cannot handle harsh reality. Being able to separate emotions from facts is how civilization starts. Teaching children to be naïve by limiting their knowledge makes them act like uncivilized animals.
I would argue corporate shills keep some information confidential by removing specific things on Wikipedia. Arguably, they do this to protect cut-throat predators in powerful positions. Which is why these cut-throat predators have an artificially cleaner reputation at the expense of exploitable people arguably. I don't completely trust Wikipedia when it comes to information about politicians, rich people, famous celebrities, specific "philanthropists", etc. Ricky Gervais, Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, Graham Elwood, Lee Camp, Whitney Webb, George Carlin, Aaron Russo, and other people made me not trust Wikipedia anymore. Wikipedia comes across as another way to put information online through rose-colored glasses to some extent for protecting people in powerful positions, such as the C.I.A. intelligence agents, by making confidential things nonexistent on public websites. People can claim I went down the rabbit hole all they want. But I know that the rise of Orwellian online surveillance, creepy phone verification systems, dehumanizing censorship, brainwashing social credit scores, decreasing human rights, increasing wealth inequality, cut-throat rulers, mental health issues from not being rich during this pandemic, and younger generations being less professionally skilled than older ones are happening internationally now. I find cut-throat rulers who have lots of money are keeping most people trapped during this pandemic via vaccine passports, not letting them renounce their citizenship, online surveillance, censorship, monopolizing the internet at the expense of online anonymity, not letting them be employees without coronavirus vaccinations despite negative side effects that killed some people or worsened their health significantly, forcing people into coronavirus quarantine needlessly that makes them financially threatened when they are getting unpaid while being quarantined, etc. From what I experienced, Wikipedia has favoritism of information that benefits the ruling class only. I would rather go to other online sources for truly investigative journalists that are not shills for oligarch-owned media companies.

They were too busy saving or investing money for their bills, children's futures, and careers to improve the U.S. economically before younger generations got spoiled rotten by America's improved economy. Now, the younger generations of America today are barely affording food because of increasing wealth inequality, increasing cost of living, and decaying infrastructure decades ago. So, working class Americans are economically screwed again, but it is to benefit antisocially greedy oligarchs only. So, you better expect skinny people, anorexic people, and starving people to become a bigger population in the U.S. The ruling class in America are kind of doing what Nazis did to Jews in concentration camps by starving them to death. Except America is the concentration camp for working class slaves with the illusion of freedom disguised as the democratic party, republican party, human rights, etc. Overall, the ruling class has exclusively cut-throat power that lets rich men live in luxury during this pandemic while working class Americans suffer more with each new year rather than suffering less with each new year.
This neurological disorder is not baffling to me. Songs that are in MP3 format do not have studio quality sound. That MP3 format compresses them, makes songs sound artificially louder, and you lose some sounds from the studio quality version. You get the fullest sound experience when listening to lossless music from studio quality songs, not MP3. People usually listen to songs with the MP3 file format because that is cheaper and doesn't hog up much personal storage space in their devices. Not because they are wanting the full sound experience when listening to songs with lossless studio quality music. It is easier to download pirated MP3 songs rather than lossless music with FLAC, ALAC, or APE file formats for example.
Personally, I prefer lossless music with the fullest sound experience without that compression and artificial loudness my hypersensitive ears can detect. But I listen to lossy music when there are no other options. Because I know there are license agreements where some singers or musicians will only publicly release lossy music for legal reasons. Because I found a soundtrack album with exclusive songs exclusively on iTunes that were only lossy for example. Otherwise, I prefer losslessly digital music rather than C.D's, vinyls, cassette tapes, 8-track tapes, etc. that can distort the sound of songs from physical damage or dust. Because I would rather losslessly rip music from a C.D, vinyl, cassette tape, 8-track tape, etc. and put that onto my microSD card than deal with future distortion of sound or song skipping.
I'm an American. I find modern American society to be borderline braindead in regards to mathematical literacy, scientific literacy, economic literacy, and being able to fluently speak more than 1 language other than English. It is clear to me that older generations of America are more skilled than the younger people now. Back in the past, most older generations of America were much less overweight, obese, unhappy, illiterate, criminal, violent, lazy, spoiled, unprofessional, anti-family, anti-leisure time, etc. They were the ones that actually made America great. But now that American civilization has collapsed because of increasing wealth inequality and decaying infrastructure due to antisocially greedy oligarchs that economically abandoned the working class many decades ago, America is crumbling while China and Russia grow stronger economically, intellectually, and politically. China and Russia will defeat the U.S. in regards to geopolitical power because working class Americans are too poor to afford resources for improving themselves intellectually, financially, emotionally, and physically. Working class Americans have to illegally riot against the ruling class in order to get human rights back and get American civilization to stop collapsing because of increasing wealth inequality and decaying infrastructure. Because the ruling class is ruthless towards working class Americans now. This is why COVID deaths usually happen to working class Americans more than most Europeans for example. Because most Europeans have a social safety net at least.
