Citation needed. Machine Learning was NOWHERE NEAR as overused as AI in user-facing communication.

The last one is a traditional nerd criticism though, it has been present on HN for the last ~20 years. Kind of ignorable.

Neither is your time writing that prompt. When people are talking about elaborate prompts, with a lot of detailed instructions, guardrails etc. I'm kind of assuming it takes time.

Well, you can just treat them like they are anybody else. So, $1000 fine plus a point on the license of Waymo. And as suggested by another commenter in the thread, if the cars in the fleet (collectively) accumulate more than 4 points within 12 months, Waymo loses its license. As in, all cars operated by Waymo.
