At least for the financial institutions on this list, I can say they have no other choice. Regulation forces them to log everything to avoid insider trading, etc. Any communication outside of their internal systems can't be logged and is therefore a compliance risk.
I have the feeling it isn't as good as it was 3 weeks ago (not including the times you get downgraded). I mean it's still great, but in my memory it was better. Anyone else?
My experience with Opus in the last weeks is the opposite. I have the feeling Opus got smarter since they released and blocked Fable. Maybe they got more compute available since a) they finished Training Mythos/Fable and b) couldn't provide inference for it?
I think the issue currently is, that you can easily give your local agent instance access to a lot of tools you just have installed on your machine.
A cloud agent is a blank canvas (which can be a good thing imo). This makes setting them up more work. -> People want something that works out of the box.
Another issue is probably that cloud agents have a datacenter IP and get blocked a lot.
