Regarding your "earn to give", I feel like I want to play devil's advocate and ask why not cut your salary in half by working or volunteering on more humanitarian projects and charities? Not sure the pay would exactly be half less, maybe even more, maybe less, but the net positive of what you do may be greater? (I say that, as if we can measure such impacts :p)
Yep! I have been in similar situations where you make a mistake and you get out right rejected. Surely it's better to explain the mistake to me and then we can discuss it. This can also be a nice cultural check too, how well do I respond to my own mistakes? It's a shame most people don't follow your idea here.
with imposter syndrome you have self doubt, but having self doubt doesn't mean you have imposter syndrome. at least to my understanding and experience. so the difference can be confusing and it's easy to label one as the other. but i also appreciate your concern, my friends use imposter syndrome when they sometimes mean self doubt.
You can express a type as one of many interfaces, or use discriminated unions (https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/advanced-types....) by using some unique version key to identify each interface. Then you'll have all the goodness of types back :)
Yes definitely. My ISP does not allow me to expose a DNS server to the internet, they told me it was against the law. So it seems you'd have to break the law in my country in order to be vulnerable to this!
I was layed off before corona. Although I have been interviewing at 2 companies, both of those have frozen hiring and the positions have been cancelled. So still in a way affected which sucks!
What's the problem with that, or what do you expect? GitHub mobile web truncates the README so you'd have to click twice (which always annoyed me about GitHub mobile web!).
Netlify does only has 500 build minutes a month. If you go over, you get charged. Although if your build takes 2 minutes, you can still deploy 250 times per month which is around 8 times a day.. so still very generous.
It's an MVP and that's something that the PWA has delivered on. We are still testing and working out the product.. after the user research, getting it on the web to know that the product has an audience and that those interested would use it was a very cheap and quick experiment.
It's a shame that iOS does not support notifications, and they do not accept TWAs on the App Store. Still have both of those to work out, and then I will be very happy with the experience.
