It's worth noting that the average sentence for murder in the US is 15 years. And it is not actually a "designated terrorist organization". The government is claiming they are a "domestic terrorist organization" which isnt a thing under US law, additionally, there is no organization to speak of.

This feels like some combination of monumentally stupid and incredibly naive.

They pay the most taxes, but they also pay the lowest percentage of taxes compared to the money and assets that they have.

It certainly shouldn't be. But society has a responsibility to take care of everyone to a basic minimum standard. Everyone deserves somewhere safe to sleep at night, to be able to bathe and clean themselves, to be healthy, and to have enough to eat and drink. If you can guarantee these things for anyone who can't afford it themselves, then you don't need to do literally anything else.

VAT is intrinsically regressive because poor people spend all of their money, and wealthy people spend almost none of theirs. Sales tax is no different. UBI is also an incredible waste. Don't give money to people who don't need it. The person with the 10 million dollar home doesn't need to receive UBI, and they're spending practically none of their money to contribute back into the system with VAT.

They keep saying unauthorized consignment agreement. Except that they've yet to make public so much as a single document showing that the franchisees were not allowed to do consignment. And the previous owners shared their franchisee agreement which explicitly authorized them to do consignment.

A large portion of data centers use open loop cooling. That is to say evaporative cooling. So they take fresh drinking water, make it hot, and dump it in the air. It's a lot cheaper than closed loop cooling.

It really pisses me off that responsible disclosure timelines are being ignored.

Some people frequently or exclusively work on remote systems over ssh. Multiple windows is not an alternative to a multiplexer. They have some overlap in use cases. But it's not 1-1.

The urethra is routed through the prostate specifically because it needs to occlude it during sex. The prostate swells during an erection to obstruct the urethra and significantly reduce the likelihood of a bacterial infection in the bladder. It's a very important function.

No investor with any brains who reads this post would ever give you money. And no job that reads it would ever hire you.

You're thinking about foviated rendering. They're just doing foviated streaming. So it renders at full resolution, and only streams the parts that you're looking at with full resolution on the stream.
