+1 on @detaro's message. Sounds like a 24h disconnect. Your router may have a feature to set dis/connect times manually ir you unplug/replug it at the time you wish to have the dis/connect to happen.
It's not irrelevant when you start argueing about being ethical.
Besides that, Epic themselves play Gatekeeper through the Epic Game Store and pay big money to ensure they are the Gatekeeper (excluding retail and other platforms), made on kids by loot boxing them.
Imagine Epic doing the same, with a 20% cut through the Epic Game Store, for PC games. And to ensure they are the Gatekeeper, they pay guarantees to Publishers/Developers to exclude retail and other platforms.
Oopps... They do exactly this.
This is not to defend Apple nor Google. But Epic is by no means better, just not as big as A/G.
