If you're wanting to actually improve over time, you'll have to drop a few. There's not enough time in the day to be a master of all trades. I'd suggest spending more time on Chess - Do a small learning component where you read a book or do some opening theory, then do a portion doing puzzles to learn tactics and spotting common positions in Chess games, then finally play some 10 minute games to put into action what you have practiced.
Agree. The author of that article took 0 responsbility and despite the warnings of "Hey, AI with power in prod is a bad idea" thought "This wouldn't happen to me!" and then when it does "HOW COULD IT DO THIS?!"
Framework isn't as mass market as your typical laptop competitors. You can make an assumption a purchaser of framework is tech minded / informed shopper.
You can also see their prebuilt option is Windows only.
When going DIY, adding Windows is between $225 and $339 depending on edition.
Most informed shoppers and techheads also know you can go to key selling websites and get completely legal and working Windows keys for <$20.
Sounds like you're using it for all the wrong reasons. For reference, I hate AI too, but just because I hate it doesn't mean I can't also say it's going to be extremely beneficial to us and only going to get better & more adopted.
