Apart from rootless, main winning point is daemonless running of the containers. There is no podman service.

This is one of the main reasons people like Podman. Docker has this "feature" but as far as I remember, it needed some obscure configuration. I guess they don't add it as default as it will break many current setups.

I would give that a try if it supported Windows/Linix.

Is it a probability that the authors understood the notion of Understanding all wrong?

;).

Reading the content the problem does not start with a plugin in Obisidian store but rather with a malicious vault they lure you to open.

You can turn it off.

Sometimes I think that, if Java ditched the idea of JVM and followed what modern languages did today (write once, compile on every major platform), things would be different.

I am not sure if this holds, I have witnessed apps that dont work in newer versions of Windows.

That article does not say whether polyphasic sleep was standard because parents were synchronizing with their babies.

The babies I know yet don't sleep like adults which means that you will be up at night at random hours that you are not used to and I think this has nothing to do with industrial work culture. That 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep is just a "dream" :).

I recall, as a twins dad, I did not have 2+ hours of uninterrupted sleep till they are 2 years old. (This depends on the kid though).

Rather than the far side, what about the Dark Side of the Moon?

Markdown is for us humans. HTML is for machines.

Per keyboard stroke, you write much more content with MD than HTML.

Even without a specific browser/reader Markdown is relatively non-intrusive to read. You cant read HTML without an extra tool/effort to discard tags.

And you can parse MD with regular expressions, or can you? ;). (tip hat to infamous Stackoverflow discussion)

That sounds like an invisible malevolent force trying to destroy us, himm, sounds familiar :).

For some good portion of the earth's population, I dont think things would go worse than it is even if there were an alian invasion.

Your reasons listed under a HN comment are more plausible than those listed by who worked on this subject for years. I find it funny and admiring.

That is inevitable :)
