Hey, I really like what you're doing. It's great that you generate easily shareable links.
I'm working on homestocompare.com which helps with house hunting in the UK.
Would it be okay to link to individual results on your site?
Looks good. I created propertywebbuilder.com as an open source real estate website builder some years ago. Had wanted to do something similar to mlsync next but never got round to it.
Shame this post did not gain much traction. I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say.
Are there other similar tools out there? Is this likely to lead to a new path for GIS apps?
Might be worth reposting as a ShowHN in a few days time.
I was quite active with updating it a few years ago but haven't had the time to work on it recently.
On another project of mine I have been using aider and co-pilot and realised I could bring property_web_builder back to life with these tools. It would motivate me massively to do this if at least one or two other people were willing to work with me on this.
Thanks - I hope to be able to release it in the next few days.
Finding the right content to use for the podcast is quite important and I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to involve the community. Currently I host the audio files and GitHub and anyone is invited to contribute to that.
I checked out your Spotify and there is some good content there but I imagine it will be hard to rank on there.
Would you be interested in collaborating? I am based in the UK and I have some ideas around location based podcasts as well.
Wow this is awesome. I've actually been working on something very similar. In my case though I focus on individual stories. Like the commenter above I feel audio doesn't work so well for general overview.
I haven't done a showHN yet because it's not quite ready but you can see where it's at here:
The podcast is quite convincing and entertaining but not as useful at bringing out all the key points as I'd hoped it would be. Still useful for getting a quick overview though.
You've got me thinking. Would this work for real estate data? A lot of sites make it quite hard to grab their raw data.
Also, perhaps it could gain some insights from the photos...
I really like the concept of gnod. I started creating notebookLM audios of hacker news posts and realised it would be nice to have a directory of notebookLM audios generally.
Will send you an email shortly about this. Would be nice to find someone to collaborate with on this.
Will probably do a "Show HN" about it tomorrow or friday. If I get the chance I will try to do a couple using podcastfy (I agree with the other comment though - the name could be better..)
